Y'know... I've been traveling a lot before I came here. Goin' ta different worlds, helpin' em out... usually I did it on my own. It's funny... when I'm alone, I didn't miss everyone as much as I do now, with all you here. I guess it's kinda like I'm jealous...

Usually at this time of year, Pluto and I might go swimmin', in those big lakes...

[It should be noted that while Mickey rambles, a cheerful looking dog has trotted up next to him. To some of you fourth-wall-breakers, he's very familiar.]

And when when me and the guys were dry, Pluto would shake himself silly, gettin' us all wet again. Then he'd give us a big bark, like he was pretendin' ta be sorry.

Rowf!

Yep, just like that. Then we'd head on home, knowin' the girls probably made us somethin' delicious ta eat...

Rowf rowf!

[Annoyed, Mickey gives him a curt glance.] Pluto, stop interruptin, I'm tryin' ta share somethin'!

Urrrr. [Pluto hangs his head in apology.]

[Mickey nods, and resumes.]

Now, where I was I... right, the swimmin' the shakin', the food, the...

[... Wait a minute. Mickey stops, and slowly starts to turn to his side]

P...Plu - WHOA!

[And in that next instant, Mickey is tackled down by his playful pup, and the device lands on the ground a few inches away. Those still tuning in can hear Mickey gleefully asking such things as 'When did you get here?!' and 'Who's a good boy?']

[Jinora was wandering around, with a blank sketchbook and her journal (like her grandparents insisted on her having at all times) in search of the many half-animals that fills the enclosure. That's when she happens upon the scene of Mickey and Pluto on the hill.

For a moment she stops and watches - wondering if they were from Luceti but then she realizes who it is! That's Mickey, Ven's friend. Even though his drawing wasn't perfect, it was good enough for her to recognize him.]

Did your friend follow you here?

[Mickey is now laying on his stomach, Pluto happily sitting on him and wagging his tail. Mickey grins, not minding the positions.]

Looks like it! That's my Pluto... when he wants to see someone, nothin' stops him!

[The way they look earns them both a giggle.]

He seems very happy to be with again.

Mm-hmm! Why, we've been together ever since we were kids! Or, uh, pups!

[Mickey begins trying to sit up, so Pluto rolls off.]

That's a long time.

[Maybe one day soon, she'll get to have a constant companion like Mickey and grandpa. Jinora moves closer to the two of them.]

He's Pluto! Say hello, Pluto!

[Pluto sits, tail wagging, always happy to make a new friend.]

[She'll hold out a hand - though whether it's for him to sniff or shake is up to him.]

Hello, Pluto. My name is Jinora.

[Pluto sniffs it, and then pushes his head into her hand. Pet him. He loves petting. Pet meeeeee.]

He's one of my pest pals!

[Petting she can do. Lots of petting. Ear scratches, chin scritches, full-body pets.]

Who are your other ones? [Tell her everything about your friends.]

[Yessss all the petting. He flops onto the grass, wanting a belly rub. Mickey chuckles, but manages to answer, counting off his fingers.]

Why, I've got a bunch of friends! There's Donald, and Goofy, and of course my gal Minnie... then ya got Daisy, and the triplets, Chip and Dale, Jiminy, Scrooge, Horace, Clarabelle, and I can't forget Master Yensid, Sora, Riku...

[She will absolutely rub that belly. Oh boy, Mickey said the keywords in there.]

You have a gal? What's she like?

[Pluto makes happy little sounds, and... Oh, Jinora, you've no idea what you just unleashed.]

Minnie's the greatest! She's as pretty as a flower, but ten times... a hundred times... a million times smarter! And she has the best ideas, too! And she's got the biggest heart, always nice ta everyone, givin' em second chances, and she's got the nicest voice, and she learned magic real quick and easy, and she's amazin' with that too, 'cause she's amazin' at anythin' she does -

[like the energizer bunny, HE JUST KEEPS GOING-]

[Please, Jinora pets the tummies of giant sky bisons. One little dog is nothing.

She'll watch Mickey with awe-filled eyes.]

She sounds amazing! How did you meet?

[Only now does Mickey realize he may be getting a little embarrassing.

Well... that's kind of a long story...

[He sits down on the grass, trying to think of a good place to start.]

Do ya know what a musketeer is? Or a knight? Or a bodyguard?

[Jinora will do the same, putting down her books to pet Pluto with both hands.]

I've read about knights in stories and definitely know what a bodyguard is. [The White Lotus have sort of become Korra's bodyguards.]

But not a musketeer.

Back in my world, musketeers were a kind of knights. And me and my pals, Donald and Goofy, wanted be musketeers more than anythin' in the world. But Captain Pete wouldn't let us... he said we weren't fit for protectin' anybody.

'Course, back then, Captain Pete was up ta no good. He wanted ta take over the kingdom, and...

[Oops, getting ahead of himself.]

I almost forgot! See, Minnie was a princess!

[Oh! Love and peril! This was a good story.]

A princess! Did the Captain turn you away because he had his own plans?

He wanted ta get rid of Minnie, so he could become king! But Minnie knew someone was after her life... she's real clever that way.

[although one doesn't have to be clever to realize that someone almost squishing you via dropped safe equals someone wanting you dead, BUT]

So she demanded that she get bodyguards ta protect her. Pete thought if he hired me, Donald, and Goofy for the job, we'd be so lousy at it, that gettin' rid of her would be easy.

[She leans forward eagerly.]

But you weren't lousy at protecting her, right?

[Ego +10]

That's right! Why, we were the best bodyguards the world's ever seen!

[... except she got kidnapped twice, BUT]

Anyhow, Pete introduced us ta Minnie, and...

[He trails off. Repeating the mushy stuff always leaves him embarrassed, and his cheeks start to burn.]

... It was... Um... w-well... Y'know that whole, love at first sight, thing?

[DETAILS. Besides it wouldn't be nearly exciting if there wasn't some sort of danger.]

Was your love frowned upon because you were a knight and she was a princess?

I was the lowest of the low, y'know? But Minnie didn't care.

... In fact, I think she kinda liked it this way. Some gals really have a thing for that whole 'forbidden love' stuff.
